The Math Olympiad program at Aldrin Elementary is for our 4th - 6th graders - and this year (2019 - 2020) Ms. Kristen Bodenhofer is our teacher sponsor. It is a premier, international Math Contest which offers 5 challenges during the school year from November - March. It offers the following objectives for students:
PTA Reflections: Look Within
The Aldrin PTA is sponsoring the Reflections program again. Reflections is a National PTA program that encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by providing positive recognition for their artistic efforts. This year, the program is celebrating 50 years of Reflections.
Students in pre-K through grade 12 create theme-based artwork in dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography or visual arts.
With a few weeks left before the start of school, this is a great time for students to consider submitting their theme-based entry for the Reflections program.
This year’s National PTA Reflections Award program theme is “Look Within.” Click here for information on how to enter include details for each category. For detailed rules for each category, visit the National PTA Reflections page. Please note that each entry must be the original work of one student only.

Turn in your creations and the official entry form to the Main Office by Friday, October 11th, 2019.

Each session the coaches will guide and mentor the girls through fun running activities, exercises, and games (curriculum and materials to be provided by the GOTRorganization) that culminate in a 5K event the girls can walk or run together.
The fall session runs from Sept 23-Nov 26. The group meets Wednesdays and Fridays before school from 7:55 - 8:55 am in the Aldrin gym.
Kelly Haywood along with two GOTR community coaches will be your coach this season.
