Guidelines for GRACE Art Classroom Presentations

Online Calendar site:  www.my.calendars.net/aldrin_grace_art (user name aldrin, password grace).

(Note:  In the website address, there is an underscore between aldrin and grace and between grace and art).

1)    Use the online calendar to check portfolio availability.  The combined presentation and project should take no longer than one hour.

2)    Confirm date(s) with your teacher and reserve the portfolio for your class using the online calendar.  If you have trouble scheduling with the online calendar, or you need to delete an entry, please contact me at maria@themeers.com.

3)    Attending monthly review meetings is optional.  I will distribute portfolio information, project instructions and the take home-flyer via email.  The meetings will provide a first hand look at the portfolio visuals provided by GRACE.  I will also provide a quick overview of the portfolio art project and highlight important concepts for that month’s presentation.

4)    Review your portfolio information and the portfolio visuals (posters) prior to your presentation.

5)    Try the art project yourself.

6)    On presentation day, pick up the GRACE portfolio and the cart (containing the project supplies and the take home flyer) from the PTA room.

7) Note:  The key to the PTA room and the elevator is located on the door of the coat closet in the Main Office (don’t forget to sign in and get your name badge).

8)    Present the portfolio in 15-20 minutes.  Please do not put any tacks through the posters. You can display posters using magnetic clips on the cart.

9)    Send the student’s project home with the take-home flyer on the cart.

10) Please ensure the classroom is left clean and all posters have been returned to the GRACE portfolio.  Return the portfolio and the cart to the PTA room and the keys to the office.
